I SO WANT TO GO

Since weekend is starting I have some interesting ideas to spend your Saturday and Sunday morning. As you might know I am a big fan of museums and art galleries and here are mi latest obsessions that I would love to visit, soon If I get lucky ^_^.

Who wouldn't love to see some illustrations of one of the 21 century fashion geniuses as Alexander McQueen and also get to see the art of the iconic fashion houses such as Chanel and Dior held at the Design Museum which I think is one of the best of London at least on matter of Modern Art.

I am a big fan of Warhol's Pop Art, back when I was in high school I used to take art class so as far as I remember he was my main inspiration, and the whole art movement made me decide to become a Publicist so for me is a big part of my daily life. 

 

So If you love Marilyn, Andy Warhol's work or both and you live near don't hesitate on visit.

As a fan of packaging design as I am I wanted to go to the MODO Museum since I first heard about it like a month ago, It is the newest design and communication themed museum on Mexico City inaugurated last month. It's packaging, advertising material and graphic arts collection holds more than 30000 objects dated from 1810 until now. So I guess it would be very interesting to see soda bottles from all over the world who are no longer made, 1920's make up powder kits, vintage parfumes bottles, I am already excited, hope they have some vintage pieces on their shop

I really am speechless about this gowns, those are the best of 2010’s Elie Saab  Haute Couture Collection, they are timeless and edgy, the gold and aquamarine are my new it colors for this winter, and who doesn't want to be married on that ashy sparkling grey and feel like a fairy princess, I know I do.

Now the year is almost done this is a must have inspirations for Christmas and New Years Eve's parties maybe you wouldn’t use something that elaborated but you should definitely go for the Golden and Aquamarine incorporate this to your outfit and own the night.

Inspirational feeling

Today I felt the adrenaline that only music and jumping off an airplane has made me feel, I love how music makes my heart beat and gives meaning to living, love how it can separate you from the world and just makes you feel, it is inspiring, it makes you believe in a different world just believe that everything is possible if you only let go and do what you do best (whatever it might be) so for me is like a drug in a good way it makes me happy and free, it is like pure freedom, no strings, no limits, no matter what kind of music you love… 

I guess as always I make no sense, but for me is one of my biggest and deepest passions when I’m feeling down, melancholic, happy, with lack of inspiration, or maybe when I feel like missing something or something is not right it is always there to make the moments of my life better or deeper. 

The cherry of my day was going to the movie theater and watched “Seguir siendo Café Tacvba” (Keep Being Café Tacvba) and I cried, laugh sing and almost danced in the middle of it, lucky me we had the cinema for just the two of us so I did not wanted to end, It is amazing how music can break barriers of time, language and culture, and it also makes me proud of the Mexican talent in every way so if you are into music and you have no clue of who Café Tacvba is you should watch its documentary about its 20 years being one of the best bands ever. I’m one of the unconditional believers of living life passionate, digging the deepest and flying the highest I guess this is why we are here so I feel the need to embrace every moment with a playlist or a song and only sometimes with silence, so I leave you with one of my favorites songs of all times

The art of fashion

Almost 3 weeks ago I visited Madrid and while I was there I spend most of my time on museums, galleries and shows which I totally love, so I went to the Mario Testino's "Todo o nada" latest exhibition held at the temporary gallery of the Thyssen Bornemisza Museum (which is a must see if you ever visit Madrid or even if you live there). 

Anyway let me tell you it was just amazing to admire not only because I love fashion but because he reflects the true beauty of his muses and it takes you to this journey into femininity and nudity without even noticing.

So totally recommended not only if you are interested on photography, art, fashion or you are just curious, but because it tops any expectations you might have.

So if you have the chance don’t miss it

Today I spent my day on styling for a friend and while doing it found this nice application on H&M website which I think is so cool, so if you like them go buy them ^_^* and no I am not getting any profits on doing this, but I thought it was nice to share what you can do with their website in case you hasn't already used it and I guess they need to update so we can play with the new LANVIN collection. Personal style

I happen to love street style and how people put together their outfits, I would describe my style as Minimalistic with a touch of edgy city rock, love how a bit of color can make a look outstanding and for me it works perfectly. 

I guess the point of fashion is make you feel beautiful, comfy and to let people know you are making your own statement "Look at me, what you see is what you get, and I love to play with it" everyone has its own definition but you should know that with clothes comes an attitude and a mood, it doesn't matter if you wear the sexiest dress ever, the it bag or the latest trend, if you don't feel like what you are wearing then try to look good on what express who you are. I guess what I am trying to say is that it all comes down to personality, for me fashion is all about expression and interpretation, not everyone else’s but your own, then you can start playing with different trends and styles. I personally admire people who can make different styles their own and rock it. So try different outfits and styles, color and textures until you find the one that shows the world who you are and then when you find it star all over again, that’s the fun of it
